Looking at the front page of tonights evening standard for example reveals that the tempreture will drop from the current -1c to around -6c.

Now on any NORMAL day that would be bad enough, but here in London it can onlu be a recipe for disaster. In some parts, for example, West London, we’ve had snow and heavy ice around since last wednesday now, and a further drop in tempreture will simply confound the problem further.
